Ingredients Breakdown

We want to ensure you are knowledgeable of every benefit listed in our individual products. (Every product ingredients vary, see each products description for the ingredient list) Below is a list of all the descriptions of each ingredient listed in our products.

Raw, Natural Shea Butter

100% Natural African Shea Butter is made from the nut of the African Shea Tree. It contains a rich amount of unremovable fatty acid that is critical to rejuvenating and moisturizing the skin. Shea Butter provides all the essential vitamins needed to keep your skin smoother, softer and most importantly, healthier.

Pure, Refined Mango Butter

Mango butter is obtained from the kernels of the mango tree. It possesses a high content of stearic acid and has a good emolliency and lends protection against the sun. It helps to prevent drying of the skin and formation of wrinkles. Mango butter also reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity. Mango butter's texture makes it a great butter for private brand formulations such as butters and lotions. It can also be used "as is" to provide relief from the dryness of eczema and psoriasis. Use liberally as needed targeting dry areas of the skin.

Coconut Oil

One of the components resulting from this type of processing of coconut oil is medium-chain triglycerides, known as MCT in the industry. This is what comprises Fractionated Coconut Oil. It stays liquid, is clear, and is highly stable for use in creams and lotions, and many other cosmetic preparations for skin and hair. Because it is chemically indifferent to other cosmetic ingredients, it acts as a viscosity regulator and assists in the dispersion of pigments and other additives. Further, it penetrates the skin readily, thus acting as a carrier for transdermal therapeutic ingredients. This ability to transport essential oils and actives makes it an oil of choice among medical practitioners and massage therapists.

  • Our Fractionated Coconut Oil meets the quality standards of the FDA, Health Canada, and the European Pharmacopoeia.
  • Color: Clear colorless liquid.
  • Aromatic Description: Fractionated Coconut Carrier Oil has no scent characteristic of most carrier oils
  • Common Uses: Fractionated Coconut Carrier Oil is used almost exclusively by cosmetic manufacturers.
  • Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.
  • Absorption: Fractionated Coconut produces a barrier on the skin, but will not clog pores.
  • Storage: It is recommended that its stored in dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life. This is why my butters are in dark amber jars that specialize in storing products susceptible to sunlight.

Olive Oil

This 100% pure, cold-pressed Olive Oil is very high in vitamins and a wide variety of nourishing fatty acids. Hydrogenated vegetable oil affords an odorless white base that is soft at room temperature but very rich, and it melts quickly on contact with the skin. This particular butter is very rich and smooth, and deeply hydrates dermal layers.
Common Uses: Olive Oil, so popular in the Mediterranean basin for skin-care and beauty products since time immemorial, aids with the re-hydration of dry or, more specifically, mature skin and hair.

Top Ten Benefits
1.  Deeply-Hydrating. It is lighter than other face oils and easily absorbed into skin. It deeply penetrates to soothe and soften while providing an excellent moisturizing effect and adding a healthy glow.

In dermatological tests, it was shown that jojoba oil increases the skin's suppleness and the effect was still present as time passed. Tests also showed continued use of Jojoba oil resulted in reducing superficial facial lines.
5.  Non-Acnegenic. Because Jojoba oil is very similar to human skin oils, its use can trick the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil and thus balance oil production, without promoting acne or other skin problems. Jojoba also naturally deters microbes, helping to prevent the growth of bacteria on skin.
6.  Easy, Not Greasy. Because Jojoba oil is very similar to our own skin oils, it immediately penetrates skin and smoothes easily, helping to promote healthy, glowing skin without clogging pores or leaving a greasy residue.
7.  Soothes Sunburn. Jojoba oils hydrating action soothes sunburn and helps reduce the chances of peeling.
